The Hermanns no longer know the exact year the first wine was produced on their estate. However, it is a fact that their great-grandfather Leonhard, in addition to farming, also enjoyed winemaking. Back then, in 1925, Pinot Noir was widespread on the steep and inaccessible slopes of the Fläscher Halde. The grape harvest, in particular, was a huge challenge for the whole family and their oxen. The oldest photograph of the harvest team was taken in the back of the village and is also one of the oldest in our collection.

We are celebrating 100 years of winemaking with a special Pinot Noir edition. An unfiltered Pinot Noir vinified in old barriques, bottled in specially selected stoneware jugs.
