A blend of Zweigelt, Merlot, and Pinot Noir. Bright ruby red with violet reflections, spicy, peppery, with roasted aromas, dark berries, vanilla, cocoa, and chocolate. A robust tannin structure on the palate, with notes of blackberries, cassis, black cherries, and wild strawberries. Long, lingering finish. Aged for 14 months in barriques. The grapes for Terra Noir are harvested later and macerated for a longer period. A superb accompaniment to game and braised meat dishes.
