Welcome to the Roman Hermann winery. For a century, we have been passionately dedicated to winemaking – deeply rooted in tradition, shaped by innovation and the unique terroir of the Fläscher Halde.
We're celebrating 100 years of winemaking with a special Pinot Noir edition. An unfiltered Pinot Noir vinified in old barriques, bottled in specially selected stoneware jugs. Tradition meets innovation.

What began with great-grandfather Leonhard has developed over decades into an innovative family business – deeply rooted in the unique landscape of the Bündner Herrschaft region.
Tradition meets pioneering spirit – from the first Pinot Noir vines of the 1930s to the bold introduction of new varieties such as Sauvignon Blanc. Today, Roman Hermann cultivates 6 hectares on the Fläscher Halde, including the historic terraced vineyard in Fläscher Bad.

Roman Hermann grew up surrounded by vines and gained valuable experience at wineries in New Zealand, Oregon, Germany, and South Africa. Since 2017, he has managed our winery with dedication and a commitment to creating wines with character and authenticity.
HUMANS EXPRESS THEMSELVES THROUGH ART AND MUSIC – THE VINE DOES SO THROUGH TERROIR.
The soil, climate, and landscape shape the character of each wine and give it its unique expression. At our winery, we are committed to sustainable farming practices and respect the natural environment. The loess soils with silicified hillside debris offer a deep, well-structured root system, allowing our vines to thrive even in hot summers without additional irrigation.
