We're celebrating 100 years of Weingut Hermann! Back then, the Fläscher Halde vineyard was difficult to traverse, and mechanization didn't exist. It was hard work for men, women, and oxen. Today, machines certainly make the work easier, but the passion remains. The oldest photo of the harvest team was taken in the back of the village and is also one of the oldest photos of our entire winery. An unfiltered Pinot Noir, aged in old barriques, vinified with some whole bunches of grapes. Wonderful fruit on the nose and velvety tannins on the palate. Just like in the old days. Bottled in an elegant stoneware jug and bearing the label of the 1925 harvest helpers, this Pinot Noir Steillage is a real eye-catcher. Tradition meets innovation.
